Home of the PC Blue Hose

In an agreement reached today, Fox Sports 1400 Radio (WSPG) will serve as Spartanburg’s radio affiliate
for Presbyterian College Blue Hose football and select men’s basketball games for the 2016-17 academic
season. Beginning September 1, Fox Sports 1400 will carry all PC football games this upcoming season.
The Blue Hose open the campaign with a Thursday night game at Central Michigan.
Fox Sports 1400 will also carry Blue Hose road basketball games beginning in November.
Eric Thacker, voice of the Blue Hose, is excited about PC coming to the Spartanburg market.
“Awesome. Just awesome. We’re very excited to be in the Spartanburg market.”
In addition to airing PC football and basketball over the airwaves, fans will be able to listen in via the radio
station’s website at www.spartanburgsportsradio.com
