Congratulations to the Fox Sports 1400 High School Player of the Week, Spartanburg Viking Linebacker Connor Shugart. He had 14 tackles, 2 of which were for a loss, 1 INT, 1 fumble recovery, and 1 blocked punt which was picked up by a teammate for the first score of the game in the 13-0 win over Byrnes.
The Vikings shut out the Rebels and are now 1-0 in Region play and 5-2 overall.
