Tyler’s Picks Week 2

This has been a crazy week! With the realignment appeals, getting ready for college football, and games moving because of rain we have been busy.

That being said I am behind getting my picks in for the week. So here they are in condensed form.  I just picked the Friday games.

Etowah at Spartanburg

Spartanburg can’t stop the run. Etowah lines it up and runs it at you. This will be a tough test for Spartanburg. Vikings have to find a way to stop the run.

Pick-Etowah

Laurens at Chapman

The Panthers are on a roll, 2-0 on the young season. Raiders are 1-0 after knocking of Clinton last week. I don’t think the Raiders can stop the Chapman offense.

Pick-Chapman

Don Bosco at Byrnes

This one is simple and straight to the point. Byrnes will move to 3-0 with a win over out of state Don Bosco.

Pick-Byrnes

TL Hanna at Boiling Springs

TL Hanna and Boiling Springs should be a great game. The Yellow Jackets are 2-0 with wins over two Region 3 5A teams. Boiling Springs got a quality win over Ashley Ridge last week. This is one game I have gone back and forth on. I’m going to give the edge to the Bulldogs because they are at home

Pick-Boiling Springs

Dorman at Hillcrest

Dorman’s defense is going to have to step up and make some plays late if the want to beat Hillcrest. The Cavs defense is thin and has really struggled in the 2nd half of games this year. I think they can do enough to squeak out a win against the Rams.

Pick- Dorman
