HS Basketball

Player of the Week

Congratulations to the week’s Fox Sports 1400 High School Player of the Week, brought to you by Rockie Bull Allstate Insurance.

This week, it’s Spartanburg High School Senior Sean Jenkins. In the 62-60 win over Hillcrest Friday Night, Jenkins had 34 points including the game winner. After a terrible week that saw fellow Senior Nick Dixon and Head Athletic Trainer Bryant Rose pass away, the Vikings trailed by 14 until Jenkins got red hot.

Spartanburg is now 3-4 in Region play. Spartanburg travels to Boiling Springs on Tuesday before hosting Dorman Friday night, which can be heard on Fox Sports 1400 and 98.3FM.
