Congratulations to this week’s Fox Sports 1400 High School Player of the Week brought to you by Bonafide Automotive.

For the second week in a row it is Union County High School running back, Junior Owens. In Union’s win Friday night over Woodruff Owens carried the ball 35 times for 285 yards and four touchdowns. Owens was instrumental in the Jackets win that put them in the driver’s seat in region 3-3A.

Union County, now 4-3 (2-0), will travel to Mid-Carolina on Friday night for a region contest with the Rebels 2-4 (1-1).
