Chapman Hires Cabaniss

Chapman High School and Spartanburg School District 1 have made a hire for the school’s Head Football Coach.

Harris Cabaniss, the Mauldin Head Football Coach, will step in to replace Mark Hodge, who left for Spartanburg High School. Cabaniss led Mauldin to a playoff birth last season in Region II 5A.

Cabaniss has been the Mauldin Head Football Coach for the past 3 seasons.  Previously he was the co-defensive coordinator for 3 seasons at Mauldin.

Chapman is coming off of an undefeated 15-0 season and a state championship under Hodge.
