2021 Player of The Year

The Gaffney Indians shocked a lot of folks in the High School Football world when they knocked off five time defending 5A State Champions Dutch Fork to claim the 2021 5A title.

Gaffney finished the 2021 campaign undefeated behind great defense and a stellar running attack.

Several players on that Gaffney team had impressive seasons but to us one player stood out above the rest.

Senior linebacker Landon Bullock led this outstanding Gaffney defense to an impressive season and was a catalyst for this team that help led them to the championship.

Bullock ended the season with 126 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 6 interceptions, 3 fumble recoveries, and 2 blocked punts.  Two of Bullocks interceptions came in the state title game against Dutch Fork and were pivotal in helping the Indians take town the Silver Foxes. Bullock also had a game saving pass break up against Dorman earlier in the season that help keep the Indians undefeated.

Congratulations to Gaffney Linebacker Landon Bullock our 2021 High School Football Player of the Year!
