Playoff time is here. Each week of the regular season has prepared these teams for this moment. Each week from here on out teams will put it all on the line for a chance to advance. Each team wants to be the last team standing in their classification when it’s all said and done that first week in December.
Who will move on and keep the dream alive and who is going to hangup the pads after tonight?
Dorman at Clover
Dorman beat Clover in the regular season 37-23. Obviously all these weeks later both of these teams are different than they were way back then. If Dorman is without DJ Porter things will be more difficult, but they proved last week they can move the ball and score without him. I think Dorman will go on the road and get a big win to advance to round two. Running the ball will be enough this week for the Cavs, and if they need an onside kick I like their chances.
Pick: Dorman
Spartanburg vs Nation Ford
Vikings earned a home game with the win over Dorman last week. Vikings have to clean up the penalties or their appearance in the playoffs will be short lived. Hopefully row Vikings are at full strength coming off the flu last week.
Pick: Spartanburg
Woodruff at Broome-
These two teams also met earlier in the season with Broome squeaking out a close win. Woodruff struggles with stopping the run and that can be problematic against Broome who boasts one of the most potent rushing attacks in the area with KBB and McGill. I like Broome to run their way to a win tonight and an appearance in the second round of the playoffs.
Pick: Broome
Landrum vs Keenan
Cardinals got a tough draw in this one Keenan is a good football team that can put some points up. However the Landrum offense is perfectly designed for the personnel they have and is built to keep good offenses off the field. I like the Cards tonight in a close one.
Pick: Landrum
