Week Zero POTW

The first week of high school football is now behind us.  There were some great performances by teams and individuals. For us one guy stood out above the rest.

Broome defensive tackle Chance Williams. Williams had 10 tackles, 2 tackles for a loss and had the game winning tackle on the two point conversion attempt that would have given Powdersville the lead.

Instead the Centurions held on for a 22-21 win over the defending 3A Upperstate Champions.

Broome is now 1-0 on the season with a date this week with the Chesnee Eagles who are also 1-0.
