Week 8 POTW

Hard to believe we are only two weeks away from the end of the regular season. Some teams still have a lot to play for and one of those teams is the Chesnee Eagles. Last week Chesnee got another big win, defeating Blacksburg.

Austin Bigford played a big roll in helping the Eagles beat the Wildcats and get a step closer to hosting a playoff game at Chesnee.  Bigford had 14 carries for 111 yards and a touchdown in Chesnee’s win last Friday Night.  That effort was enough to make him the Fox Sports Spartanburg Player of the Week presented by 365 Grillin and Seafood.

This week Chesnee will head to 96 with that two seed and a home playoff game on the line.

Congratulations to the Eagles and to Austin Bigford on being named our High School Football Player of the Week for week 8!
