POTW Week 9

Week 9 was an eventful week in high school football. It set up what will be an even more eventful week in week 10.

One team that will have a chance at the region title are the Broome Centurions. Broome defeated Carolina on Friday night 55-6, setting up a region title matchup with Chapman this coming Friday night.

Broome cruised to this big win thanks in large part to the running of their stud running back Jaylen McGill. McGill had 12 carries for 228 yards and 4 touchdowns in the win.  He is our Fox Sports Spartanburg Player of the week for week 9.

McGill will look to lead the Centurions to a region title on Friday night if they can knock off the Chapman Panthers.
