Week 10 POTW

I remember Coach Mike Anthony always telling us that, “Big time players make big time plays in big time games.” I’ve always found that statement to be very true. The best players tend to stand up, and show out in the biggest situations.

Mathai Scott did that this past Friday Night. With the region title on the line against a very good Broome team, Scott took the Chapman Panthers on his back and led them to victory! For his effort he is out Fox Sports Spartanburg Player of the Week.

In the region title game against Broome, Scott carried the ball 20 times for 176 yards and three touchdowns leading the Panthers to a 38-35 win and a one seed in the 3A playoffs.

Congratulations to the Panthers on the win and Congratulations to Mathai Scott our week 10 player of the week presented by 356 Grillin and Seafood!
