Round 1 Player of The Week

The first round of the playoffs is done and the majority of our local teams survived to round two.

Broome played a really close back and forth game with Seneca in round one that came down to almost the last second of the game. That is when Kamajay Brackett-Brannon took the game on his shoulders and scored the go ahead touchdown to put the Centurions in the second round of the playoffs.  For his efforts he is our Fox Sports Spartanburg Player of the Week for the first round of the playoffs.

KBB had 16 carries for 132 yards and two touchdowns, including the game winner, and also threw 14 of 19 for 162 and a touchdown in the 42-35 win.

Broome will move on to round two of the 3A playoffs and will travel to Clinton this Friday night for a meeting with the Clinton Red Devils.

Congratulations to Broome and Congratulations to KBB on being our Fox Sports Spartanburg Player of the Week for round one of the playoffs, presented by 365 Grillin and Seafood!
