Arcega-Whiteside POTW

Last week was an incredibly hard week for the family of Keenan Arcega-Whiteside. His mother and long time Dorman Girls Basketball coach Valorie Whiteside passed away on Friday.  She was a tremendous person and she was definitely her sons biggest supporter.

 

With all that was going on at home for Arcega-Whiteside he pushed through it and had a big week on the hardwood, a place that we all got to know his mom and they were undoubtedly connected.  Against Blacksburg last week Keenan had 11 points and 9 rebounds in the Dorman win and then added 12 points and 4 rebounds in the Cavs win over Riverside.

 

We continue to remember the Arcega-Whiteside in our thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead.
