High School

High School Basketball POTW

As the season draws to an end the Landrum Cardinals find themselves one win away from another region title.  They got one step closer last week with two big wins over Blacksburg and Greenville Tech Charter.

Bennett Edwards had big games in both of those victories, helping lead the Cardinals to victory, while also passing a big milestone.  That is why we have selected Bennett Edwards as this weeks Player of The Week.

Against Blacksburg Edwards had 16 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists in the 67-60 win. In the 91-48 win over GTC he added 36 points on 15-17 from the field, with 7 rebounds and two assists.

Also on Friday Edwards passed the 1,000 point mark for his career.

Congratulations to the Landrum Cardinals and to Bennett Edwards this weeks High School Basketball Player of the Week.
