Coach Dave Dickerson Steps Down as USC Upstate Head Coach

Coach Dave Dickerson is stepping down as the USC Upstate Head Basketball Coach to accept a job as Associate Head Basketball Coach at Ohio State University.

Coach Dickerson arrived on campus at Upstate in April of 2018 as the programs 10th head coach.  Since that time the Spartans have had a fair amount of success including  10 conference wins in a season (2021-2022) and back to back Big South Conference Semifinal appearances in (22,23).  The Spartans also made an appearance in The CBI Tournament, which is the highest level post season tournament in the D-1 era for Upstate.

Dickerson coached at Ohio State under Thad Matta from 2010-2017 in the same role.
