Kingston Fired as Gamecock Baseball Coach

Sources in Columbia are reporting that Mark Kingston has been fired by Ray Tanner after seven years at the helm of the South Carolina Baseball program.

Kingston went 215-163 in his 7 years as the coach and had an overall losing record in SEC play.  Durning his tenure he led the Gamecocks to two Super Regional appearances.

Monte Lee has been named the interim coach.
