2024 Football Preview: Union County

The Union County High School Yellow Jackets have had a rough few seasons.  Over the last two seasons the Yellow Jackets have won just three games including just one win last season.

This year Union County will look a lot different. A brand new coaching staff will be on the sidelines for Union led by first year head coach Quinnon Isom. Coach Isom has a long and successful record as an assistant coach including his most recent stop a Crest High School in North Carolina.

Coach Isom brings with him a new passion and a renewed excitement that is spilling over into the community, a community that is hungry to see the Union teams of old return to the field. The Jackets will have a lot of new faces on both sides of the ball. Some are freshman that coaches are excited about.  Some players have transferred in and they even have a kid they are very excited about that was previously home schooled.

Listen to the interview below to find out all about this years 2024 Union County High School Yellow Jacket Football team as I talked with new head coach Quinnon Isom and you can hear in his voice the passion he brings to Yellow Jacket Football.
