Playoffs. Not much in life is better than the playoffs in any sport. The high school football playoffs are special. If you have ever been a part of a playoff run you know exactly what I mean. Especially if you are on one of those teams that has to become road warriors in the playoffs. The bonding and all the fun that is had. It can be a very special time. Records are reset and everyone in the playoffs has a chance to win a state title. All of our local teams are in. Gaffney and Spartanburg will not play tonight they have a bye but everyone else is in action. Hopefully we all have a great night.
Boiling Springs at Dorman– Hurricane Helene decided that we would not have this region game in the regular season, but now we get it in the playoffs. That should be even better. I think both of these teams are better right now than they were all those weeks ago. Can the very capable Dorman defense slow down the Boiling Springs offense. Can Dorman find enough offense to get the win?

Byrnes vs Lexington at PC-With Trey Seggara back on the field for the Rebels this is a much better football team. He is the offense they have been looking for all season long. Now that they have that with the defense they have had all year this is a dangerous team. If Lexington can stop the run and make Byrnes throw the ball the will have a chance. I don’t think they will.

It wouldn’t be the 3A playoffs if we didn’t get Broome at Powdersville. This year we get it in the first round. Broome has had a rough season and I unfortunately think it ends tonight.

Woodruff shouldn’t have much of an issue with Pendleton.
Greer, even with a backup QB and several other injuries, will defeat Fountain Inn.
I think Union has a decent chance to go on the road and upset Crescent tonight.
Chapman has found something that seems to be working for them as of late. I think they can keep it up and knock off Palmetto.
I have never been to a football game at Chesnee, tonight may change that. Overall I think Chesnee is a better team than 96 and they have more weapons. I think they win easily.
Going to Central will be tough for the Landrum Cardinals who have really fallen off from the beginning of the season. I’ve got Central tonight.
