Round 2 POTW

Round two of the playoffs was a good one. 3 of the teams we cover got wins and are moving on to round 3 this week.

One of those teams moving on this week are the Spartanburg Vikings. The Vikings defeated Byrnes on Friday Night 37-17. The game got off to kind of a sloppy start for both teams on the offensive side of the ball and the score was close as the end of the first half approached.

That was until Peyton Jones picked off a pass and returned it for a touchdown. The momentum swung in the Vikings favor and they went on to the win. That interception and his nine tackles and one sack earn him this weeks Electrifying Player of the Week honors.

This week the Vikings will take on JL Mann in the third round. Last year Mann was the team that ended the Vikings season in the playoff over at their place. This year the Vikings will get the Patriots at home.

Congratulations to the Vikings on the win and Congratulations to Peyton Jones on being our Round 3 Electrifying Player of the Week!
