Week 4 POTW

There were some great games and great performances in week 4 of the high school football season.  Some blowout wins and some tight contests. Started region play in some classifications while getting some interesting non-region matchups for others.

One of those interesting non-region games was Broome vs Powdersville.  These teams don’t have a very long history but have played a lot recently including several times in the playoffs.  This game was another good battle between these two with Broome pulling out an impressive 53-39 win.

A huge part of that win was the play of Broome QB Jameson Dearybury. In that game on Friday night Dearybury was 25 of 29 passing for 372 yards and 3 passing touchdowns. He also ran for 15 yards. That performances earns him this weeks Fox Sports Spartanburg Electrifying POTW presented by Broad River Electric.

Broome is now 2-3 on the season with a chance to get to .500 this week as they travel to Blacksburg. Congratulations to Broome on a great win and congratulations to Jameson Dearybury our week 4 Electrifying POTW!
