Week 6 POTW

Following last weeks loss to Wren, Woodruff entered region play looking to bounce back with a win on the road at Broome. The Wolverines did indeed bounce back with 49-14 win over the Centurions.

Leading Woodruff to the victory was their quarterback Connor Davis, who the Wolverines had to depend on more with several injuries on the offensive side of the ball.  Davis rose to the challenge completing 18 of 24 passes for 295 yards and 5 touchdowns on the night. That performance makes him our week 6 Electrifying Player of the Week presented by Broad River Electric Cooperative.

The Wolverines are now 6-1 overall and 1-0 in region play. Woodruff will be off this week ahead of a huge region matchup with Mountain View Prep next Friday October 17th.
