Week 9 POTW

The year is quickly coming to an end and each game gets bigger and bigger as the final week of the season is here. Last week we has some big games and some of our local teams got some big important wins.

One of those winner was the Byrnes Rebels. Byrnes beat Spartanburg 42-7 on Friday night to help the Rebels potentially improve their playoff seeding.  In that win Byrnes running back Tre Segarra was fantastic and his performance earns him the Week 9 Fox Sports Spartanburg Electrifying Player of the Week award presented by Broad River Electric Cooperative.

In the victory Segarra had 17 carries for 255 yards and 4 touchdowns, while also catching 3 passes for 27 yards. After being out the previous week due to injury Segarra bounced back in a huge way to help lift the Rebels to a monster region win.

Congratulations to the Byrnes Rebels on a great win and Congratulations to Tre Segarra our Week 9 Electrifying Player of the Week presented by Broad River Electric Cooperative!
