Week 10 POTW

The Broome Centurions ended the regular season with a win over Chapman to earn 3rd place in their region and the right to host a home playoff game in the opening round of the SCHSL Playoffs.

Despite Broome’s starting QB Jameson Dearybury suffering a season-ending injury in week 9 Broome found a way to get a win. A huge factor in that was the play of Ty’Qwon Booker. In the game Booker was called on to run the ball 33 times for 286 yards and 3 touchdowns. He also scored 3, yes 3, 2-point conversations in the Centurions 36-33 win over the Panthers. He is our Electrifying Player of the week presented by Broad River Electric Cooperative.

This is Booker’s 2nd time winning the player of the week award this season and the third time this year for a Broome Player.  Broome will be back in action Friday as the host Pendleton to open the playoffs.

Congratulations to Broome on the win and Congratulation to Ty’Qwon Booker our week 10 Fox Sports Spartanburg Electrifying Player of the Week presented by Broad River Electric!
