Union County Parts Ways With Isom

In a statement released on Monday the Union County School District announced that they would be making a transition in the high school football program.

Here is the statement:

Union County Schools Announces Coaching Transition for Varsity Football Program

[Union, SC] — [11/10/2025] — Union County has announced that Coach Isom will not be returning as the head varsity football coach for the 2026–2027 season. The district extends its appreciation to Coach Isom for his dedication and leadership to the football program and its student-athletes.

The district will begin the process of selecting a new head varsity football coach in the coming weeks. Further updates will be shared as the search progresses.

Quinnon Isom wrapped up his second season as the Jackets head coach on Friday with a loss at Crescent. The Jackets were 3-18 in those two season under Isom winning two games last year and just 1 this season. The Jackets last winning season was the Covid year 2020 when they went 4-2.
