Round 2 POTW

The playoffs roll on and 5 of our local teams have made it to round 3 this Friday night.  Things only get tougher from here. Some of our local teams cruised on Friday night will others had shootouts.

On team that was involved in a very tight game in which they were able to pull out a win was Mountain View Prep. The Stars went on the road and beat a good Crescent team 50-49. A catalyst in that win Friday night was WR/ATH Kadarus Hainsworth. KD got it done on both sides of the football against the Tigers. He had 7 catches for 170 yards and 2 touchdowns, 2 carries for 82 yards and a touchdown, and 4 pass breakups on the defense side of the ball. 252 total yards and 3 touchdowns on just 9 touches. Those stats earn him Fox Sports Spartanburg Electrifying Player of the Week Honors for round 2 of the playoffs presented by Broad River Electric.

KD and the Stars will go on the road again this week in round 3 to take on top seeded Powdersville for a right to practice on Thanksgiving and play for the Upperstate Championship.

Congratulations to Mountain View Prep on the wins and Congratulations to KD Hainsworth the round 2 Fox Sports Spartanburg Electrifying Player of the Week presented by Broad River Electric Cooperative.
