2025 Electrifying Offensive Player of The Year

There were a lot of offensive high school football players in our area this year. Good running backs, receivers, and quarterbacks who could have won this award.  But, in the end one player stood out above the rest.

Mountain View Prep quarterback Mak Anderson. Anderson led the Stars to a 10-2 final record in 2025 with one loss coming in the regular season to Woodruff and the second in the playoffs to Powdersville.

Anderson had outstanding numbers in 2025. Passing the football he was 168 of 227 for 3015 yards and 35 touchdowns. He also ran the ball 126 times for 1177 and 23 more touchdowns. Giving him a total of 4,192 yards of offense and 58 total touchdowns for the season. 58 total touchdowns in a season would tie him for 6th all time in a single season in state history according to SCHSL record book.

Mak led his offense to achieve great heights in 2025 and had another tremendous year. Congratulations to MVP’s Mak Anderson our 2025 Electrifying player of the year presented by Broad River Electric.
