Week 1 POTW

Each week during the high school football season we will select a player from our area who excelled on the field the previous Friday night to be named the Broad River Electric Cooperative Electrifying Player of the week.

For week one of the season the electrifying player of the week is Landrum star JP Branyon. On Friday night Branyon had 28 carries for 232 yards and a touchdown on the offensive side, while amassing 10 total tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 1 pass breakup on defense. The Cardinals defeated 3A Walhalla 32-21.

Next week Landrum will travel to 96 to take on the Wildcats.

Congratulations to Landrum on the win and congratulations to JP Branyon our week one Broad River Electric Cooperative Electrifying Player of the week
